This game isn’t as serious as the previous one but nevertheless entertaining. It’s all about a simple cycle race pitted against a couple of computer opponents. Of course, we all remember the Snakes game that shot to fame after it featured in all Nokia phones. Well, this is a slightly similar albeit very much enhanced version of the same. Oh yeah, the graphics are stunning.
This is not the conventional racing type game, rather it is a street-rage game bearing a lot of similarity to the county cricket matches where players are hired and upgraded for best results. It is to be noted by amateurs that these MMO games are just improvised versions of Facebook games, if you have played them. A number of complex parallel algorithms run in the background to power the game. A great alternative to the monotonous 3,2,1 GO!
A game that deserves a better position, but for its price of $4.99 [though it is free to try], is the second version of Raging Thunder that took the racing world of Android by charm with its amazing graphics, excellent 3D platform and smooth flow in gameplay. No other racing game can even think of competing against this Android racing masterpiece. But still, money matters, right?
Remember the good old days where GTA had an aerial view, or the days when retro top down racing games in video game consoles inspired awe in you. Do those reminiscences haunt you? Well, then traffic rush is a good choice for you to take a break from the eye-tiring 3D games and do a bit of retro racing. Free to try.
Yet another free but wonderful MMO game which is kind of a driver simulator where you need to churn some cash by running a few errands in your vehicle to fix up your wheels in order to become eligible to race. This has been pushed to the bottom of the line due to its extensive usage of RAM of the phone. While not a typical racing game, it is an emulator of Nintendo for droids. Its claim of running all NES games is still to be verified. Though available for free download, this needs to be bought for $3.98 for saving game progress.
So, enough of cars! A biking game has also made it to the top ten racing games for Android. It is just a touchscreen-trackball version of a famous Sony Ericsson Symbian game, which is free to download. It is a very difficult game and can be extremely frustrating at times.
Gear up and forge ahead!
